Charlie Palmieri
Born in 1926 to Puerto Rican immigrants, Charlie Palmieri, Eddie Palmieri’s elder brother, was widely known as “El Gigante de las blancas y las negras” for his mastery of the Piano. He was a pioneer of salsa music, and has left behind a rich legacy of tropical jazz and salsa in his discography.
